This isn't a job where you'll be stuck behind a desk pushing paper all day. You'll be on the floor, building alongside your team, solving problems in real time, and steadily taking ownership of everything that makes our production line run from the assembly bench to the boardroom. What You'll Be Doing
- Running the production line day-to-day planning activities, coordinating operators, and keeping everything on track for quality, budget, and schedule.
- Getting your hands dirty jumping in on assembly and manufacturing tasks alongside your team when it counts, because leading from the front is how we do things here.
- Owning the paperwork that matters work instructions, engineering drawings, ECRs, DMRs, DHRs, and other manufacturing documentation that keeps us compliant and audit ready.
- Running meetings that drive results coordinating with cross-functional teams, reporting on progress, and flagging issues before they become problems.
- Championing quality ensuring everything we produce meets IDE's QMS, GMP, and client requirements, and building a culture where quality is everyone's job.
- Driving continuous improvement spotting inefficiencies and leading the charge on Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to make the line better every week.
- Managing supplier relationships keeping the supply chain reliable and building partnerships that support the whole business unit.
What You'll Bring
- An Associate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Experience coordinating people and resources in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfort reading engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Practical experience with assembly tools, hand tools, and production/test equipment.
- A working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and documentation practices.
- Bonus points for exposure to medical device regulations, GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, or ISO 2859 but we're happy to help you build this knowledge on the job.
- Solid Excel skills for tracking data and production metrics.
- Sharp problem-solving instincts and a genuine attention to detail.
