The Senior Manager of Exhibits & Sponsorship leads the development, sales, and execution of exhibit and sponsorship programs for IDDBA events. The role is responsible for revenue generation, vendor oversight, and ensuring high-quality trade show experiences that support IDDBA’s mission and strategic goals.
· Execute Exhibit Sales Strategy – Leads planning, prospecting, negotiations, and sales cycles to grow and retain exhibitors.
· Develop Exhibitor Relationships – Serves as primary contact, providing high-level guidance and solutions to support exhibitor success.
· Manage Sponsorship Program – Develops packages, oversees sales, and ensures sponsorships align with organizational goals and deliver value.
· Achieve Revenue Goals – Monitors, forecasts, and adjusts revenue strategies to meet annual goals.
· Trade Show Execution – Oversees onsite logistics, contractor coordination, exhibitor arrangements, and floor operations.
· Contribute to Trade Show Planning – Participates in strategy development, program design, timelines, and operational planning.
· Coordinate Site Visit Elements – Manages assigned logistics such as space planning, contractor evaluations, and venue requirements.
· Develops Exhibitor Service Kit – Creates and updates detailed guidelines, timelines, and instructions in collaboration with vendors.
· Develop and Manage Show Floor Plan – Designs layout, allocates booth space, and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards.
· Monitor Exhibitor Costs – Tracks cost structures, advises leadership on pricing strategies, and ensures transparency for exhibitors.
· Plan and Execute Exhibitor Sections – Leads layout, coordination, and onsite delivery of specialty exhibit zones or product areas.
· Coordinate Exhibits Marketing Strategy – Partners with Marketing to develop messaging, campaigns, and promotional tools for exhibitors.
· Track Competition Event Data – Conducts market research and provides analysis to leadership.
· Lead IDDBA Exhibits Committee – Facilitates meetings, drives strategic discussions, and implements committee recommendations.
· Identify New Opportunities – Co-innovates new events, revenue streams, and process enhancement.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for, but not limited to: Exhibits Coordinator to ensure a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or 5–7 years of progressive experience in trade show or event management.
· Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) preferred.

Physical Requirements• Ability to travel for up to 30 days per year to support organizational events and related commitments.
• Regular sitting and computer use at a workstation.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
