The Sr. Director of Operations is responsible for overall operations and management of multiple logistics facilities, as assigned. The Sr. Director of Operations is accountable for providing strategy for all aspects of multiple high-volume supply chain/logistics operations to ensure consistent high level service quality and customer satisfaction, profitability, cost efficient operations, compliance with company policies and procedures, and leadership to all employees.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares short- and long-term facility business plans and budgets based on Company goals and objectives.
- Establishes and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs), contract details.
- Ensures that all warehouse operations are carried out in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
- Reviews activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine location progress toward stated goals and objectives.
- Guides local management teams on labor planning.
- Is responsible for the facilities P&L and works on maximizing the profit, turns around loss-making operations.
- Handles productivity, quality and safety standards in accordance with company needs and customer requirements.
- Reviews facility Safety performance and provides appropriate guidance to ensure continuous focus and improvement.
- Oversee the management of all client distribution and supply chain operations.
- Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures; prepare reports on performance and potential improvements for operations.
- Develops optimization plans to free up capacity and increase through-put in the facilities.
- Creates an atmosphere that promotes employee involvement and communicates regularly with facility management.
- Establishes and frequently reviews developmental action plans that promote positive growth for the individual and strengthens succession planning initiatives.
- Provides direction, development and leadership for managers and supervisors.
- Conducts performance evaluations and recommends promotion, wage increases and other performance related actions such as verbal and written counseling notices, discipline, and termination of employment.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master's degree
- 10 years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Experience in supply chain management in a distribution environment
- Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement experience
- Working knowledge of financial accounting and human resources practices
- Success with building a diverse, inclusive workforce and leading a culture of belonging that respects every team member
- Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
- Availability to travel up to 35% of the time

Salary : $150,000 - $185,000
