What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor a team of assembly technicians, promoting best practices in mechanical assembly.
• Oversee the assembly process, ensuring adherence to schematics and blueprints for optimal accuracy.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to guarantee quality standards.
• Conduct training sessions on the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in the assembly workflow.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating forklifts and other machinery.
• Maintain detailed records of production metrics and team performance.

Experience

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and soldering equipment.
• Hands-on experience with welding, machining, and fabrication processes is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
