Job Title: Workday Techno-Functional Payroll Analyst
Experience Required: 8–10 years total IT/HRIS experience, including 3–4 years of Workday experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a Workday Functional Payroll Analyst to support a payroll migration project from PeopleSoft to Workday. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition of payroll processes, data, and configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the migration of payroll processes from PeopleSoft to Workday.
- Analyse payroll requirements and configure Workday Payroll solutions.
- Validate payroll data, configurations, and integrations during the migration.
- Perform payroll testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure payroll calculations, deductions, taxes, and reporting function correctly after migration.
- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot payroll-related issues.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of overall industry experience.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Workday, preferably Workday Payroll.
- Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience aligned with current project requirements.
- Proven experience implementing and supporting Workday solutions in a production environment.
- Ability to independently handle both technical and functional responsibilities.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Workday implementations, configurations, integrations, and production support.
- Implementation experience must be clearly verifiable and aligned with the candidate’s actual employment tenure and role at the respective organization.
- Ability to clearly explain project scope, responsibilities, technical contributions, and implementation details during the interview.
- Experience with Workday HCM and related modules.
- Experience in payroll migration projects, especially PeopleSoft to Workday.
- Strong functional knowledge of Workday Payroll.
- Experience with data validation, testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in large-scale HR/Payroll transformation projects.
