Medical Laboratory Assistant Location: Hamilton, Montana | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week Ready to launch or grow your career in healthcare while surrounded by the natural beauty of Montana? Bitterroot Health is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Hamilton-a place where your work matters and your surroundings inspire. About the Role As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our clinical team-performing a variety of lab duties with precision and care. From phlebotomy to sample processing, your work will directly support accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and waived to moderately complex lab testing

Execute phlebotomy procedures with safety, skill, and compassion

Process samples, manage order entry, and assist with phone coverage

Collect patient information and ensure awareness of hospital policies

Provide coverage across all shifts as needed

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED

Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or equivalent degree

Strong communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus)

Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

Enrollment in a phlebotomy program or equivalent education

Phlebotomy certification (ASCP, NCCT, CPT-CCI)

One year of experience as a Phlebotomist
