Medical Laboratory Assistant
Location: Hamilton, Montana | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

About the Role
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our clinical team—performing a variety of lab duties with precision and care. From phlebotomy to sample processing, your work will directly support accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and waived to moderately complex lab testing
- Execute phlebotomy procedures with safety, skill, and compassion
- Process samples, manage order entry, and assist with phone coverage
- Collect patient information and ensure awareness of hospital policies
- Provide coverage across all shifts as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or equivalent degree
- Strong communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus)
- Proficient computer skills
Preferred:
- Enrollment in a phlebotomy program or equivalent education
- Phlebotomy certification (ASCP, NCCT, CPT-CCI)
- One year of experience as a Phlebotomist
