Position Summary
The Director of Operations is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating clinic operations while ensuring excellence in patient care, staff performance, and financial outcomes. This role plays a key part in supporting the Governing Body, advising on administrative services, and driving both short and long-term organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership by modeling organizational values and fostering collaboration across teams.
- Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure optimal use of resources.
- Champion the patient experience, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and process improvements.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage budgets, track financial performance, and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Supervise the Clinical Manager, Patient Access Supervisor, Guest Services Supervisor, Surgical Services Manager, Radiation Therapy, and Radiology teams.
- Lead staff development initiatives, including training, evaluations, and career growth opportunities.
- Promote a healthy and positive workplace culture while addressing performance and policy concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay current with industry trends, healthcare legislation, and business best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years in a top-level administrative or management role within healthcare.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record in team leadership, talent development, and organizational growth.
- Ability to balance business considerations with employee engagement and patient care excellence.
