Job Description:
- Full Time Position with occasional overtime.
- Experience preferred, but no experience needed with a willingness to learn.
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and other apparatus to lift, move, or manipulate materials or parts.
- Operate one of the following machines: TRUMPH C02 Laser, OMAX Waterjet, ACCU-PRESS Press brake (brief details for each below).
- Knowledge of hand tools such as, hand grinders, drills, drill press.
- Polish and deburring of parts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating one of the machines listed below
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Computer experience
- Willing to work in a moderately fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic - good attendance a must
- Good communication skills
- Highly motivated worker that can work with minimal supervision
Press Brake:
- Setting a computer-controlled press brake to project specifications.
- Ensure proper positioning and alignment of metal.
- Monitoring the pressing process.
- Check accuracy of bent parts against blueprint drawings.
- Brake product components as per blueprints and instructions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machine to ensure optimal performance.
Laser / Waterjet:
- Set up and operate Waterjet and C02 Laser machines according to job specifications and safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machine settings and cutting requirements.
- Perform part inspection, measurements, and assessments to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Physical Demands, Conditions, Shifts:
- Able to lift up to 60lbs.
- Regularly bend, stoop, carry, lift, or traverse with as a means of transporting or organizing materials, product, or subassemblies.
- Requires the ability to stand or remain standing in an upright position for long periods of time.
- Occasional alternate shifts will be required based on workload.
