Position Title: Multi-Level IT Computer Support Tech
Work Location: SSF
Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4x10’s
Salary Grade: 04 Salary Range- Min: $40,670 Mid: $52,065 Max: $63,455
Salary Grade: 07 Salary Range- Min: $57,925 Mid: $74,550 Max: $91,175
Position Purpose:
The Customer Support Tech is expected to provide first and second-tier telephone (helpdesk) and direct support resolving end-user computer and VoIP phone issues. Must effectively utilize the IT Help Desk ticketing system to organize and address end user support management. Ability to research and resolve IM support issues including PC/workstation, end user application, and printer problems is a requirement. Assist with resolution of desktop environment patching and vulnerably remediation. Provide on-call after hours support as directed. Perform other IT related duties as assigned.
This position has the following scope:
• Configuration and implementation of desktop applications
• Administration of desktop hardware and software
• Maintaining a standard desktop configuration
• Troubleshooting desktop hardware and software, patching, and upgrades
Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):
This is a multi-level posting and the successful candidate will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills. At the Idaho Environmental Coalition, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
* Salary Grade 04: Vocational certificate or equivalent plus 2 years relevant experience.
* Salary Grade 07: Vocational certificate or equivalent plus 9 years relevant experience.
Must have experience in the following areas:
-Knowledge of Windows 11 operating systems and basic networking skills.
-Knowledge of the following applications: Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Reader, Edge and Chrome.
