Position Title: BOP Liquid Waste Process Operator

Work Location: Site/INTEC

Shift Schedule: Rotating, 4x12’s

Hourly Wage: $43.82/hr


Position Purpose:

Perform operational activities in the INTEC Liquid Waste areas. This includes operation and surveillance of multiple nuclear and TSD facilities by manipulation of valves (both manually and remotely), compliance with TSR and RCRA permit requirements, liquid sampling operations, transfers of liquid waste in support of IWTU operations, and walking down and posting LO/TO's. This is a 12-hr rotating shift position and requires completing and maintaining six separate facility qualifications (Tank Farm, Liquid Transfer, Service Waste Off Gas, PEW, LET&D, and NWCF).


Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous INTEC Operations work experience is preferred.

 

Special Requirements/Training:

Must be able to work day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be capable of lifting 1/3 of personal body weight or 50 pounds, whichever is less. Must be able to wear respirators or pressure suits. Must be capable of performing physically demanding work, including climbing ladders and working at heights.

 

License(s) or Certification(s) Required:

Must have a valid driver's license.


Position Responsibilities:

- Perform operational activities in the INTEC Liquid Waste areas. This includes operation and surveillance of multiple nuclear and TSD facilities by manipulation of valves (both manually and remotely), compliance with TSR and RCRA permit requirements, liquid sampling operations, transfers of liquid waste in support of IWTU hot operations. 

- Walk down and post LO/TO.

- Attend training such as radiation worker, confined space entry, asbestos abatement, respirator, HazWoper 24- or 40-hour worker, etc. as required by management for the completion of assigned work activities.

  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766)
  • U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential
  • Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
