Job Description: CAD Drafter / Detailer

Idaho Custom Iron Works is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafter / Detailer with experience in structural and architectural steel. We are looking for someone with 1–3 years of experience who is eager to grow with our team and contribute to high-quality steel fabrication project Starting Pay: $25–$32 per hour

(Based on experience and qualifications)Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 3D models and shop / fabrication drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software (Revit, Advance Steel, Onshape)
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, engineers, and fabrication teams
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy and constructability
• Assist with project revisions, RFIs, and drawing updates
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing standards

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience required
• Experience with structural steel and architectural steel
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self starter, Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks on time
• AutoCAD, Revit, Advance Steel experience is a plus
• Familiarity with 3D Exports / Imports a plus
