ID A is a Specialty Contractor whose business is the planning, design, and creation of our customer's corporate, health and learning spaces. We possess in-house expertise in design, prefab construction, furniture, fixtures & equipment and technical services. Our customers come to us because they want one point of contact for the design and execution of their interior projects throughout Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Tennessee.

The Account Executive (AE) role based in Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; Evansville, IN; and Nashville, TN requires a bright and consultative sales professional who will maintain existing client relationships while developing new ones with small and medium size (SMB) and large businesses that result in contracts for interior design and workplace solutions.
A full understanding of our solutions is essential. An understanding of the application that each product serves is critical. The ability to interface/communicate with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner is very important. Our ideal candidate will possess a flexible personality and be able to communicate clearly to other persons, both orally and in written form. ID A Account Executives will give presentations to architects, designers, and end-users to educate them on our solutions and how ID A can benefit them on their projects. We do not seek to be a bid response responsive company but a proactive trusted advisor.
Education, Experience and Attributes:
- Minimum five years’ experience in interior design, commercial construction, or five years of B2B sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong understanding of the construction process, real estate market and job site conditions
- Proficient in Microsoft including One Drive, Teams, and Outlook
Major Functions of the Position:
- Hit & exceed sales goals
- Relationship development and New Business Development Goals
- Client presentations (planning, scheduling, delivering, follow up)
- Integration with DIRTT, Furniture, Acoustics, Glass, Promoting other areas as a Specialty Contractor
- Solicit, write, revise produce proposals or contracts
Essential Duties:
- Exceed sales and profit goals
- Develop key customers and influencers
- Engage in consultative selling practices to uncover client needs
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Deliver ID A’s Specialty Contractor message
- Responsible for finding opportunities for ID A to sell Interior Construction Products & Services
- Develop and deliver clear and concise client presentations demonstrating value
- Work closely with sales management developing sales and territory strategy
- Maintain and update CRM with client profiles, forecasted projects and leads
- Uphold the ID A Fulfillment Process
