Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
- Collaborate with cooks and servers to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Help with restocking supplies and managing inventory levels as needed.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to providing exceptional guest services and enhancing the dining experience.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays of food, as well as stand for extended periods of time.
