Senior Accounting Manager

ICX Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for a large publicly traded organization who will focus on team building, process improvements, and be a strategic financial partner to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert on business initiative projects and work closely with VPs, PMs and executives in finance, operations and accounting
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures and controls and help streamline processes
• Ensure accurate month end close and financial reporting
• Work closely with external auditors to ensure successful audit compliance
• Coach, mentor and manage accountants

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 9 years Accounting experience
• CPA preferred
• Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and flexible manner
• Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
• Self-motivated and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
• High emphasis on teamwork and collaboration with various levels within the organization
• Self-starter who accepts ownership of areas of responsibility
• Must possess excellent attention to detail and be willing and able to meet deadlines which may require overtime
• Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills to articulate key information
