What are the responsibilities and job description for the Convertible & Equity Derivatives Advisory Associate position at ICR?
Role Description: ICR Capital, one of the most highly regarded Capital Markets Advisory firms, is seeking a highly motivated Individual to fill an Associate position on its Convertible & Equity Derivatives Advisory team. This client-facing role will work closely with team members in providing advisory services for companies pursuing the full range of equity-linked capital-raising alternatives.
The person will focus on the technical accounting side of the deal process with the opportunity to gain exposure in other areas.
Level: Associate
Responsibilities include:
- Leading execution role on the accounting workstream of convertible and equity derivative transactions including convertibles, securities, call spreads / capped calls, and share repurchases
- Assist in researching technical accounting literature on complex structures
- Assist in preparing new business presentations and marketing materials
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of technical accounting experience in the Big 4 advisory practice
- With solid knowledge of US GAAP financial instruments related accounting such as ASC 260, 480, and 815
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Interested in learning convertible bonds pricing is a plus
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Working in a hybrid or remote setting
Salary : $75,000 - $125,000
