JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Full-Time Property Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at an apartment community in Tukwila and provide part-time admin and leasing support at a community in North Seattle.
This position also includes providing remote administrative support to another property manager within the Seattle portfolio. The ideal candidate is flexible, highly organized, and comfortable balancing both on-site and remote responsibilities.
As ICON continues to grow, this role offers strong potential for expanded responsibilities and portfolio growth. High-performing candidates will have the opportunity to take on additional properties, increased oversight, and a more strategic role within the organization over time.
OTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
· Current knowledge of new WA State Landlord-Tenant laws is a must! Fair Housing training is required as well, if needed.
· Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and local landlord-tenant regulations.
· Adept in accounting and office management.
· Planning and executing on-site marketing and advertising directives.
· Complete regular AP for multiple properties.
· Maintain high standards for customer service and resident satisfaction.
· Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly.
· Assist in preparing and distributing notices, lease renewals, and move-in/move-out documentation.
· Schedule and coordinate work orders and unit turns with maintenance staff and vendors.
· Help monitor and maintain property curb appeal and cleanliness.
· Conduct property tours and assist in marketing vacant units.
· Process applications, collect rents, and assist with accounts payable (AP).
· Prepare weekly and monthly reports as requested by the Portfolio Manager.
· Track supply inventory and place orders as needed.
· Travel between assigned properties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum 2 years of experience in property management or leasing (multi-site preferred).
· Current knowledge and experience with evictions and new WA State Landlord-Tenant Laws.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
· Working knowledge of Washington State Landlord-Tenant laws and Fair Housing regulations.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher).
· Proficiency with AppFolio property management software is strongly preferred.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
· Professional appearance and demeanor.
Job requires associates to do an ample amount of walking; to move about the property and give tours to future residents, post notices, and ensure curb appeal for multiple properties. Some light lifting may be required as well. Must be comfortable traveling between sites.
