Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)

Location: Fort Collins, CO 80528, (Remote)

Duration: 9 month contract

Pay Rate: $35.48 per hour

We are seeking experienced Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineers to support the delivery, automation, validation, and ongoing operation of enterprise cloud platform infrastructure in highly secure, air-gapped environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and cloud management platforms.
• Support Linux-based systems, Kubernetes clusters, and Helm deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Troubleshoot virtualization, networking, storage, and platform-related issues.
• Support software deployment into disconnected and regulated environments.
• Develop deployment validation, health checks, and testing automation.
• Ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements.

Required Skills (Top Priorities)

• VMware ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and cluster administration
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Advanced Linux systems administration
• Kubernetes administration and Helm
• Git/GitOps and CI/CD automation
