Pricing Analyst
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Schedule: Standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $40/hr
Overview
The Pricing Analyst supports pricing strategy, valuation oversight, and competitive analysis across ETF, mutual fund, and private market product lines. This role focuses on executing daily pricing operations, ensuring valuation accuracy, and supporting regulatory and committee reporting within an asset management environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily security pricing activities, including fair valuation and ASC 820 (FAS 157) leveling
- Research halted, suspended, and delisted securities to determine appropriate valuations
- Review price exception reports and validate accuracy within internal systems
- Analyze significant price movements and market value fluctuations
- Maintain and enhance proprietary pricing methodologies and tools
- Update pricing logic across products, asset classes, and geographies
- Improve pricing models, automation triggers, and reporting processes
- Generate pricing recommendations for new products
- Maintain pricing documentation, tools, and internal resources
- Support regulatory reporting and pricing committee deliverables
Required Experience
- 1 year of experience in asset management, fund accounting, pricing, or trade operations
- Exposure to ETFs, mutual funds, or private markets
- Experience working with large datasets and financial data validation
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally (finance, ops, compliance)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with interest in financial markets and industry trends
