We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Data Analyst to help us enhance data accuracy and drive continuous improvement across our operations.
Position Overview
The Data Analyst will support Icon Aerospace’s business operations by collecting, sorting, and analyzing data from the ERP system sources — including vendors, customers, and quotes. This individual will be responsible for identifying trends, discrepancies, and patterns that impact pricing accuracy, purchasing decisions, and customer satisfaction. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with the Pricing & Purchasing Supervisor and other departments to ensure data integrity and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, organize, and analyze data from ERP systems and related business tools.
- Review vendor, customer, and quote data to identify inconsistencies or discrepancies.
- Conduct trend and variance analysis to support business decisions and process improvements.
- Work with the Pricing & Purchasing Supervisor to communicate findings and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Quality, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate and consistent data practices.
- Assist in creating and maintaining data dashboards or reports that summarize key metrics.
- Support ongoing efforts to improve data accuracy, workflow efficiency, and reporting tools.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with FAA 145 repair station requirements and company data policies.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0–2 years of experience in a data, business, or operations analytics role (internships welcome).
- Experience working with ERP systems or large data sets preferred.
- Expert level Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) a plus.
- Basic understanding of data validation, data cleaning, and reporting principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is a plus.
