Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data migration strategies and plans.
Analyze and profile data for migration, identifying any data integrity issues or discrepancies. Design, create, and manage databases and data systems to meet company needs.
Perform data conversions, imports, and exports from various data sources.
Test and troubleshoot data migration processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Document all data migration procedures and maintain records of data processed.
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure successful data migration.
Provide training and support to users on new systems.
Assist in the development of data governance policies and standards.
Continually improve processes and systems for more efficient data migration
Qualifications: and experience:
5 plus years of experience - Application Management-Transition-Data Analytics
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in data migration projects. Proficiency in data conversion methodologies, ETL processes, and data mapping.
Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and data integrity principles.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud-based storage systems and databases.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles. Familiarity with data migration tools and software.
