STEM/Coding Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education teaching and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and student needs.
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to deliver course materials effectively.
• Conduct research to stay current with educational trends and best practices in instructional design.
• Employ various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles in adult education settings.
• Manage classroom dynamics, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Create lesson plans that align with course objectives and student outcomes.
• Provide academic advising and support to students, guiding them through their educational journey.
• Mentor students, offering guidance on academic performance and career development.
• Collaborate with faculty members to enhance instructional strategies and improve student engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in higher education teaching, with a focus on adult education preferred.
• Strong skills in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Familiarity with learning technologies, particularly Blackboard or similar platforms.
• Excellent classroom management abilities, fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
• Experience working directly with students, demonstrating effective mentoring and advising skills.
• Ability to conduct research relevant to course content and instructional methods.
• Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
