Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and student needs.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to deliver course materials effectively.
- Conduct research to stay current with educational trends and best practices in instructional design.
- Employ various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles in adult education settings.
- Manage classroom dynamics, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Create lesson plans that align with course objectives and student outcomes.
- Provide academic advising and support to students, guiding them through their educational journey.
- Mentor students, offering guidance on academic performance and career development.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance instructional strategies and improve student engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in higher education teaching, with a focus on adult education preferred.
- Strong skills in curriculum development and instructional design.
