Part Time After School LEGO and Coding Instructor (Entry Level)

Are you looking to make a BIG impact in your LOCAL community? Are you looking for a PART TIME, IN PERSON job? How would you like to teach coding and Lego Engineering to children and get paid for it! All curriculum, supplies, and training is provided by {YEL!}.

Youth Enrichment League's mission is to enrich the lives of children to THINK, LEARN and PLAYING WELL. Youth Enrichment League partners with local communities to offer children, primarily in grades K-5, a variety of enrichment opportunities, i.e. robotics, coding, chess, LEGOs, Fencing, and more.

In this PART TIME Coding and Lego Engineering instructor position you will be responsible for the following:

• SHARING YOUR PASSION AND ENTHUSIASM for Coding and Lego classes
• CAN DO ATTITUDE: Going above and beyond to ENGAGE students in our pre-packaged lessons teaching basic Coding skills
• STEWARDSHIP AND SAFETY: Following our COVID 19 and all other safety policies.
• SCHEDULE: Working 3-6 hours per week, in 1.5 per day blocks.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONS:

• Experience working with children is preferred. Experience examples include: youth summer camps, youth coaching, Sunday School instruction, baby sitting, having children of your own, etc.
• Availability during weekday after school hours (3:30-6:00PM).
• A reliable vehicle.
• A valid Drivers License and ability to transport and store supplies needed to teach class.
• A sincere desire to make a BIG IMPACT on children's lives.

• Instructors are given all the supplies they need to flourish in an after school setting. Supplies typically are two medium to large suitcase. Supplies vary depending on subject and course.
• Paid training includes an orientation of our policies and procedures as well as class specific training.
• This position allows you to gain experience in teaching kids, in as little as 3-6 hours per week, and offers a prospective as a possible career path.
• Get paid $5 for arriving 15 minutes early to class and mileage one way from your home to the school over 15 miles.
