This program is designed to prepare college student become launch a career in the U.S. Navy Business Financial Management (BFM) career field. This is a dynamic career field with numerous opportunities for growth and advancement while serving the needs of our country supporting the U.S. Navy.
During the 8-week BFM Summer Internship, interns will be introduced to Navy Acquisition, Navy and Federal Financial Management, Business Intelligence, financial analysis, business, and analytic tools.

Responsibilities
- Provide on-demand timely professional support services for program offices in Washington, DC.
- Attend classroom instruction about: the DOD/Navy budget process, financial management skills, Navy financial systems, basics of Fiscal Law, budget process and audit as it applies in a Navy acquisition program
- Use business and analytic tools to visualize, manipulate, and integrate data from Navy financial management systems to provide insights into program health.
- Analyze financial reports and other financial/contract reports with guidance from our experts.
- Administrative tasks such as forensic accounting support, reviewing financial reports and documents for any discrepancies, errors, and modifications.
- Interface with the government customers and other contractors
- Present analytical findings in a formal briefing.
- Pursuing a college degree, preferably in an area related to Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
