Job Description
Ichi-Kaku is a chef-owned craft Japanese ramen restaurant located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, operated by Chef Yohei Kamiya.
Our restaurant currently holds a 4.8-star rating on Google with over 948 reviews (as of April 2026), reflecting our strong commitment to quality food and guest experience. Our ramen is built on house-made soup and traditional Japanese dashi prepared in-house.

We are currently looking for a Lead Line Cook who can take a strong role in the kitchen and help maintain high standards during service.
This position is ideal for someone who already has kitchen experience and is ready to take the next step in responsibility while continuing to grow in a professional kitchen environment.
This is not a management position, but it is a lead role with opportunities for growth as our restaurant continues to expand.
Responsibilities
Prepare ramen and other menu items with consistency and quality
Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service
Help maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and food safety standards
Assist in guiding and supporting other kitchen team members
Work closely with the chef and team to maintain efficient service
Schedule
Typical shifts
10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
4:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Full-time and part-time available.
Pay Details
New team members begin with a training period.
During training, hourly pay is typically $14–$16/hr depending on experience and skill level.
Tip sharing is not included during the training period.
Once training is completed, team members join the tip-sharing system, with average total hourly income approximately $15–$22/hr including tips.
Training length may vary depending on performance, reliability, and availability.
