We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Directional Driller to join our team. This role requires a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is safety-focused, and is willing to travel extensively.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate directional drilling equipment to achieve high daily production volumes.
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site each day.
- Operate safely at all times, following company and industry standards.
- Assist with manual labor when required, including shoveling and ground work.
- Provide guidance and training to new employees as they are hired.
- Travel extensively to project sites, often requiring extended periods away from home.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Underground Directional Driller.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain equipment.
- Willingness to perform physical labor and work in outdoor environments.
- Safety-first mindset with knowledge of OSHA and industry safety standards.
- Ability to travel extensively and stay on projects for extended periods.
- Leadership skills and willingness to mentor/train new team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- CDL license is a plus.
- Experience working with underground utilities (fiber, gas, power, water).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
