- Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as AS400 and SAP.
- Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and support demand planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors through sourcing negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance evaluations.
- Implement process improvements in materials handling, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment to enhance efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or supply chain disruptions and develop corrective action plans.
- Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau to generate reports on inventory metrics, logistics performance, and supply chain analytics.
- Coordinate with logistics teams on shipping & receiving, materials management, and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Support procurement activities by analyzing pricing strategies, conducting financial modeling, and managing purchasing contracts.
- Assist in production planning and materials management to align stock levels with manufacturing schedules.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory control procedures to maintain high accuracy standards.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, warehouse distribution processes, and inventory control techniques.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or SAP, and data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent data collection, mining, visualization, and analytics skills for informed decision-making.
- Experience with procurement strategies including sourcing, negotiation, pricing analysis, and contract management.
- Familiarity with logistics operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, demand planning, and production scheduling.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis to resolve supply chain issues efficiently.
- Skilled in using SQL for data extraction and analysis; experience with Nielsen or retail merchandising data is a plus.
- Valid forklift certification or experience with materials handling equipment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
