Ice Haus is seeking a reliable and professional individual to join our Door Security team. Door Security are often the first point of contact for guests and are responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, and controlled environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the venue, monitoring guest behavior, and assisting staff in maintaining order during busy periods.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Check IDs and verify that all guests meet the venue’s legal age requirements
- Monitor entry points and manage crowds to ensure patrons behave in a safe and orderly manner
- Respond to incidents such as disputes, fights, or medical situations and take appropriate action to resolve them
- Assist with crowd control during events or high-volume periods
- Escort unruly or disruptive patrons from the venue when necessary
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with guests and staff
- Accurately document incidents or issues that occur during your shift
- Perform required end-of-shift and operational cleaning tasks as assigned; these responsibilities are mandatory and part of maintaining a safe and presentable venue.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Utah Food Handlers & On-Premise Alcohol Seller certifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Expected use of technology, including ID-scanning systems
- Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment
