Job Description:
The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality wood components for custom millwork, cabinetry, and architectural woodworking projects. This position requires strong machine competency, sound understanding of multi-axis machining fundamentals, and the ability to troubleshoot complex operations to meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Set up and operate CNC routers and related woodworking machinery to manufacture parts according to
- Load, verify, and edit CNC programs as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to feeds, speeds, and tool paths
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards
- Coordinate with shop supervisors, programmers, and other operators to meet production deadlines
- 2 years of experience operating CNC equipment in a woodworking or manufacturing environment (or

- Basic understanding of CNC programming concepts (G-code familiarity preferred)
- Experience with CNC routers used for wood, MDF, plywood, veneers, and solid lumber
- Familiarity with custom millwork, cabinetry, or architectural woodwork
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
