Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to children in one-on-one sessions. (We provide training; no prior experience is required.).
- Collaborate with the team members to ensure treatment goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Passion and patience for working with children and adolescents with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to learn how to implement behavior intervention plans.
- Willing to work at least 15 hours for a part-time position.
- Full-time positions are available.
- Have your own transportation to come to our autism clinic in Cupertino OR drive to clients home.
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the job, which may include sitting, standing, walking, running, lifting, or playing with children for extended periods.
Training:
We provide comprehensive training to all new hires (paid hours), including ongoing training. Supervisors for each case. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The prevalence of autism has increased to 1 in 26 children in the state of California. With this significant increase, there is a lot of need for ABA technicians to work in a 1:1 basis to teach these individuals communication, socialization, and daily living skills.
