Your Role And Responsibilities
The Program Manager/Executive oversees an IBM team of up to 60 FTE working mostly remotely
Responsibilities Include
- Responsible for overall IBM team delivery schedule, quality, and cost management
- Responsible for overall client satisfaction at the senior director level
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the software development lifecycle
- Organize IBM team resources to efficiently execute the following tasks: analyze legacy application code, extract logic, develop modernized code, execute development level testing, and support defect analysis/resolution.
- Responsible for directly managing senior architects, requirements lead, development manager, test manager, security lead
- Interface and work closely with client management team to call attention to problems, resolving problems and supporting deployments into production systems.
- Ensure team delivers according to client process and procedure standards
Minimum of 10 years experience managing technical project teams in complex multi-stakeholder enterprise environments
- Experience managing at least one project with 60 FTE or $10M/year in revenue
- Excellent communicator and team builder. Experience communicating issues effectively with IBM team members and client stakeholders
- Experience managing a team with matrixed skills and responsibilities.
- Experience with best practices in software development and testing
- Experience with Agile practices
- Active IRS MBI Clearance
