Ensure integration of MDG with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and non-SAP systems for a seamless flow of master data. Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for data governance, data quality, and data management. Analyze current master data processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements through SAP MDG solutions. Governance and Compliance: Establish master data governance processes and workflows, ensuring that they adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations. Define rules for data validation, approval workflows, and escalation processes to ensure that master data is maintained consistently. Technical Configuration: Configure SAP MDG components, including data models, UI customization, and workflows, to meet specific organizational requirements. Set up data replication frameworks to distribute master data across multiple systems in the landscape, ensuring data consistency. Handle the configuration of data quality, validation, and derivation rules within the MDG framework. Data Migration and Integration: Plan and oversee the migration of legacy master data into the SAP MDG solution, ensuring data integrity and quality. Design interfaces and integration points to ensure seamless data exchange between SAP MDG and other systems such as SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and third-party applications. Performance Tuning and Optimization: Monitor the performance of the SAP MDG system and optimize processes to ensure efficient data processing, governance workflows, and user interactions.
