Your Role And Responsibilities
- Architect and provision IT enterprise platforms that aggregate network, infrastructure, cloud, and applications, integrating tools, services, workflows, and data across the enterprise.
- Design platform services and technologies that align with agencywide strategic initiatives and business requirements.
- Provide architectural analysis of on-premise and cloud-based environments to ensure interoperability and eliminate redundancy or inefficiency.
- Serve as a technical liaison between USCIS OIT customers, internal engineering teams, and external vendors.
- Lead lifecycle planning, architectural modernization, and migration of critical IT services and enterprise systems.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with architecting and developing platformbased solutions, establishing throughput and setting baselines for acceptable performances standards.
- Working knowledge of DevOps concepts
- Experience in evaluation and analysis of workloads that are running in public and private cloud environments.
- Expertise working with virtualization, storage and enterprise backup solutions using automation technologies.
- Expertise working with Active Directory technologies.
- Expertise working with application streaming and desktop virtualization technologies.
