You will get exposure to all aspects of marketing demand generation and performance, from early-stage audience targeting via paid media investment and web performance, through to response to lead management and sales analytics.

Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist you will work with business stakeholders, engineers, marketing and sales teams on analytics and strategy. You will get exposure to all aspects of marketing demand generation and performance, from early-stage audience targeting via paid media investment and web performance, through to response to lead management and sales analytics.
Your Primary Responsibilities Include
- Project Work and Customer Focus: owns a project feature and accountable for development and deployment, sets project vision and manages timeline and deliverables. Develops new learning methods to solve complex technical problems. Clearly articulates to all parties (technical and non) how data science methodologies are tailored to specific project work. Translates end user needs into requirements, delivers prototypes or MVPs.
- Innovation: Generates opportunities and contributes to the creation of IP (patents, peer- reviewed publications, external presentations, etc.), or as a creative way to solve a problem.
- AI Ethics and Principles and Influence: Ensures application of IBM’s AI Ethics principles to projects they work on. Manages the work of one or more junior teammates, providing guidance & coaching. Mentors others in the organization. Leads community-building efforts.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Industry Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Python programming, NLP techniques, and AI Frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face).
- Database Management: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database management.
- Data Science Skills: Strong background in data science, statistics, mathematics, and analytical techniques.
- Machine Learning Expertise: Expertise in machine learning and deep learning methodologies, including foundation models.
- Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies and data engineering practices.
- Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and proficiency with GitHub for code collaboration.
- Deep Learning Experience: Hands-on experience in data science for 8 years with a minimum of 3 years in deep learning.
- Web Development Skills: Web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React for creating interactive data-driven interfaces.
- Cloud Computing Experience: Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/Google/IBM) for leveraging advanced cloud-based services.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and presentation of technical concepts.
- Project Management: Project management experience with a focus on agile methodologies for efficient project execution.
- Ethical Considerations: Awareness of ethical considerations in data science and AI to ensure responsible data usage.
