Responsibilities
- Greet guests and attendees warmly, providing information and directions to enhance their experience
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces, including heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Monitor crowd behavior and manage conflicts swiftly using effective conflict management techniques
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including first aid readiness and CPR certification adherence
- Support food service operations where applicable, including cash handling and processing transactions through POS systems
- Coordinate with team members to manage guest flow, ticketing, and registration processes efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue, ensuring compliance with safety standards and venue policies
Skills
- Proven experience in events management or hospitality environments
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Certified in first aid and CPR; ability to respond quickly during emergencies
- Previous experience working with children or in family-friendly event settings preferred
- Retail sales experience beneficial for ticketing or merchandise support roles
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with outdoor work environments and theater or food service experience advantageous
- Effective public speaking abilities for guest engagement and announcements
