Qualifications:Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualifications System for Trades and Labor Occupations will be used in determining applicants' qualifications. There is no specific length of training or experience required; however, you must be able to demonstrate through experience shown in your written resume that you have the ability to independently do the work of the position, as defined below, without more than normal supervision. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must be rated at least at the acceptable level in these elements to receive further consideration.
Qualifications: Have received and dispensed bulk fuel; have inspected fuel handling equipment for quality assurance and serviceability; and have supervisory experience.
- Ability to lead or supervise.
- Knowledge of equipment assemble, installation and repair.
- Operation of fuel trucks and fueling equipment.
- Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic).
- Use of measuring instruments.
- Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (other than blueprints).
