Basic Function
Greet and provide Guests with courteous service. From selling novelty merchandise to providing food through a catered meal service, this Guest-oriented role plays a large part in delivering a terrific experience.
Specific Responsibilities
• Interact with Guests, providing directions and assistance.
• Operate a cash register, computer or POS system.
• Operate credit card verification terminals.
• Maintain fully stocked shelves, counters, and table displays with appropriate merchandise.
• Monitor all areas to avoid and/or detect theft to assist in maintaining park assets.
• Maintains an acceptable level of cleanliness and organization in immediate and surrounding work areas.
• Keep aisles, counter-tops, prep areas, and displays clean and neat.
• Performs opening and closing procedures in assigned areas.
• Performs other duties as required.
Specific Responsibilities – Catering Operations
• Prep, cook, and serve various food items.
• Operate grills, flat tops, and ovens, depending on minimum age requirements.
• Operate assigned area in accordance with company policy, state and federal health regulations, and safety protocols.
• Work as a team player with other associates in providing a great dining experience.
• Clean and close down the catering hall after each service, which may include washing dishes, cleaning the floor, and general cleanliness of the location.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English and understand written instructions.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to follow instructions and recipes in a timely manner.
• Be able to work and communicate as a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in all types of extreme weather.
• Ability to climb, kneel, bend, push, pull and reach above shoulder.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
