What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campground Activities Coordinator position at IB Parks and Entertainment?
Basic Function
Coordinate and conduct daily/weekly activities for children and families at both campgrounds and being knowledgeable of campground operations to deliver excellent Guest Service.
Specific Responsibilities
● Organize all activity locations and events.
● Coordinate the weekly/monthly activity schedules for the summer.
● Encourage guests to join activities and always be open to guest suggestions.
● Oversee all activities and upkeep areas as needed.
● Maintain strong knowledge of campgrounds features and locations to best be able to answer guests' questions.
Job Requirements
● Must be 15 years of age or older.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Must be comfortable communicating and demonstrating activities with all demographics, including small children.
● Must be able to work alone or in groups.
● Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
● Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in all types of extreme weather.
