POSITION SUMMARY – Accounts Receivable Accountant
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant who thrives in a fast paced, high volume environment. This role is not just about processing invoices; it is about owning the billing and collections process end to end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accountability. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, combined with hands on experience managing large volumes of invoices, reconciliations, and collections.

Key Responsibilities
• Accurately create, process, and distribute a high volume of invoices on a timely basis.
• Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle, including billing, collections, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Monitor and analyze Aging Reports, proactively following up on overdue invoices to ensure timely payments.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve billing disputes and streamline processes.
• Post cash receipts, ACH, and wire payments in accounting systems with precision.
• Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable, providing cross functional support as needed.
• Drive efficiency by identifying and recommending process improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR equivalent hands on accounting experience.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong focus on accounts receivable and high volume invoicing.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large transaction volumes while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software (ERP experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with stakeholders across the business.
• Self starter who takes ownership, works independently, and meets deadlines consistently.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
