What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Cart Attendant position at IAMJ Enterprises Inc?
The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing an on-course food & beverage experience for players. This position is also responsible for assisting with food & beverage services for tournaments and events.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Food Service Sales Support
a. Prepare an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, serving alcoholic drinks only to those 21 years old or older. Bartenders should ask for proof of age if person's age in questionable.
b. Prepare and serve various snacks.
c. Follow all City and State liquor guidelines & policies.
d. Work as a Team Player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments.
2. Operational Support
a. Perform daily opening and closing inventory. Inventory sheets must be dated, signed and turned in with closing paperwork.
b. Maintain an inventory sheet that reflects daily sales.
c. Receive and record all monetary transactions, including tips.
d. Must check with Food & Beverage Manager or Bar & Grill Attendant before leaving the property.
e. Confirm cart is fully operational before starting rounds, (gas, air in tires, oil etc.); Inspect cart to see that maintenance problems are corrected promptly, reporting these problems to the Manager.
f. Maintain a clean and orderly cart at all times; Park and hose down cart at the end of the shift.
g. Must attend beverage cart meetings and all training classes.
h. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience:
Ø High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ø Maintain an up-to-date Texas Food Handlers License & Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission’s License.
Ø Must present a professional image and be self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
Ø Must be well organized and have strong prioritization and planning skills.
Ø Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ø Must be available to work on weekends and major holidays.
Ø Basic mathematic skills required
Ø Ability to lift up to 50lbs
