Position Summary
The Driver & Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of aviation materials, components, and documentation between internal facilities and external partners. This role also supports the logistics department with shipping, receiving, inventory, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), detail-oriented, and experienced in transportation and logistics within a fast-paced, regulated industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Driving & Transportation (50%)
- Safely transport aircraft engine parts and documents between IAG facilities, airports, vendors, and customers.
- Ensure proper handling and secure packaging of aviation components during transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles; report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading of parts, crates, and equipment as needed.
Logistics & Administrative Support (50%)
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes, including inspection, documentation, and proper labeling of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and logistics software.
- Prepare domestic and international shipping documentation (air waybills, commercial invoices, etc.).
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Support logistics team with filing, scanning, and organizing transportation and shipping records.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehousing.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred:
- Prior experience in the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations related to part handling and transport.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Combination of offices, warehouse, and driving environment.
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions, including engine parts and packaging equipment.
- Must be able to sit, stand, drive, and walk for extended periods.
This is NOT a remote position – This is a 100% in-person position.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
