i9 Sports runs youth leagues, camps, and clinics for ages 3–17, focused on fun, safety, and sportsmanship. We’re changing the youth sports experience—and referees are a big part of that.
Season Details
- Fall Season Starts: April 11th - May 16th
- Schedule: Saturdays 8-2 pm (games practices)
- Season Length: ~6 weeks
Your Role
As a Soccer Referee, you’re more than just enforcing rules—you help create a fun, supportive game environment for players, coaches, and families.
What You’ll Do
- Officiate games using i9 Sports rules (age-appropriate and safety-focused)
- Keep games on schedule (time & scorekeeping)
- Teach and encourage sportsmanship during play
- Act as an extra coach on the field for beginners
- Provide basic instruction and guidance to players
- Help coaches run practices if needed
- Handle on-field situations with confidence and professionalism
- Create a positive, respectful experience for everyone involved
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in soccer (refereeing, playing, or coaching)
- Confident, calm decision-maker under pressure
- Self-starter who can manage games independently
- Positive attitude and strong people skills
- Availability for all Saturdays during the season
Requirements
- Ability to ensure player safety and take control when needed
- Must pass a National Criminal Background Check
