Project Manager

Role Overview

This is a full-time, high-level on-site project delivery position focused on managing project phases from concept through construction. Working directly in Honolulu, HI, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage critical client communication, ensure design quality, and proactively oversee technical budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Scope: Oversee day-to-day project workflows, including strategic planning, scheduling, and coordinating project phases from initial concept through final construction.


• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a highly collaborative, inclusive work environment.


• Client & Stakeholder Management: Manage direct client communication, build long-term relationships, align client expectations, and collaborate closely with consultants and contractors.


• Compliance & Technical Quality: Ensure top-tier design quality, technical accuracy, and full building code compliance. Prepare, monitor, and review comprehensive project documentation.



• Risk & Budget Tracking: Monitor operational project budgets, track timelines, perform material adjustments, and proactively address structural risks or sudden changes in scope.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a highly related field.


• Core Experience: Demonstrated project management experience in architecture or related fields, including deep coordination of scope, schedule, budget, and resources.


• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency with architectural documentation and design coordination tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, and specialized project management software).


• Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of building codes, construction methods, permitting processes, and technical detailing for commercial, civic, academic, and/or housing projects.



• Communication & Mobility: Excellent written/verbal communication skills to prepare clear reports and schedules. Full capacity to work on-site in Honolulu, HI, with flexibility to attend site visits and coordination sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.


• Professional licensure or active pursuit of architecture licensure.



• Prior experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with an interest in community-focused, research-based design solutions.
