Job Summary:

The Director of Hospice is responsible for all operational aspects of clinical care delivery for Hospice, including all activities impacting finances, cost control, clinical and regulatory compliance performance. Key performance indicators (KPI’s) established through a system of continuous monitoring of financial, quality and operational improvement metrics serve as the foundation of service delivery.

This position will establish best practices to ensure care delivery that meets industry standards for clinical care, agency mission, vision & values, profitability, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

High focus will be placed on creating a positive work environment through motivation and engagement of staff to achieve retention of qualified staff at or above agency goals.

Requirements:

• Recommended RN or MSW license within the State of practice. (not required)
• Bachelor’s Degree required - Masters preferred.
• Five (5) to Ten (10) years of managerial/executive level experience, preferably in home health/hospice required.
• Understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of healthcare quality improvement initiatives, data usage, statistical method.
• Skills in written/oral communication, supervision of staff, documentation requirements, service coordination, and case management.
• Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft programs required.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
