Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for reviewing, creating, and updating electrical and pneumatic documentation for industrial machinery. This role requires strong hands-on experience with live production equipment, including troubleshooting, schematics development, and wiring identification.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and revise electrical and pneumatic schematics by reverse-engineering operational machines.
- Inspect, study, and trace physical wiring within Lathe, Saw, and Mill machines to create accurate electrical drawings.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors to obtain missing or outdated electrical/pneumatic documentation.
- Update and maintain electrical drawings after any equipment modifications or upgrades.
- Perform labeling of wires and components according to schematic wire IDs and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices during all work activities.
- Use AutoCAD Electrical software to develop, edit, and maintain detailed schematics and layout drawings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical (mandatory).
- Proven experience with industrial machinery wiring, troubleshooting, and reverse engineering.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems (added advantage).
- Master Electrician, Journeyman, or Professional Electrical License preferred.
- Strong ability to interpret and generate technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to work on live operational equipment safely and efficiently.
