Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

Classic Optical is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the frontline point of contact for optical providers. The representative will assist providers with inquiries, orders, and existing prescriptions while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to provider inquiries through phone, email, and fax.
• Provide professional and timely customer service to optical offices and providers.
• Enter vision prescription orders accurately into the appropriate systems.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to existing orders.
• Navigate multiple websites and computer applications efficiently.
• Listen actively to provider concerns and identify appropriate solutions.
• Handle provider frustrations with empathy and professionalism.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external providers.
• Follow established procedures and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple websites and systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent active listening skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Previous experience in a call center, customer service, optical, healthcare, or similar environment.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy when handling frustrated customers or providers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
