Job Summary
As a Purchasing / Contract Professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving our procurement strategies and managing supplier relationships to ensure seamless operations. You will leverage your expertise in procurement management, contract negotiation, and supply chain management to optimize purchasing processes and enhance overall efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver quality products and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, vendor management, and inventory control.

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage materials requirements planning (MRP) effectively.
- Manage contract records, documents and asset records in contract management applications
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities in meeting our manufacturing needs.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics to ensure quality standards are met and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
- Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and contract compliance for management review.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement management or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically SAP or nSAp
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in inventory management and logistics coordination.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and requirements.
- Ability to analyze pricing structures and develop cost-saving strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
