Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort
- Conduct sleep studies, including electrode application, monitoring, and data collection
- Monitor patients throughout the sleep study to ensure data accuracy and patient safety
- Analyze sleep study data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports for sleep specialists
- Collaborate with sleep specialists to develop effective treatment plans for patients
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Calibrate and maintain sleep study equipment, ensuring proper functionality
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)
- Previous experience as a Sleep Technician strongly preferred
- Proficiency in using sleep study equipment and software
- Knowledge of sleep disorders and treatment options
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
