CSA Supervisor – Pharmaceutical Construction Program
On-site – Indiana – 12-Month Contract – Full-Time (40 hrs/week OT with approval)
Are you an experienced Supervisor ready to lead field execution and drive successful turnover on a high-profile labs construction program? We’re seeking a hands-on CSA Supervisor to oversee civil, structural, and architectural works with a strong focus on quality completion, punch closure, and readiness for handover on a complex, highly technical project.
This is a fully field-based leadership role where your ability to manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure a smooth transition from construction to turnover will be critical to delivering world-class pharmaceutical facilities.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the on-site CSA Supervisor responsible for daily field execution and turnover readiness
- Lead and coordinate civil, structural, and architectural subcontractors to ensure work meets contract documents, specifications, and codes
- Plan, sequence, and supervise CSA construction activities in alignment with the overall project schedule and turnover milestones
- Take ownership of CSA completion, including inspections, punch list management, and closeout activities
- Drive progressive turnover strategy by ensuring areas are completed, cleaned, and handed over in line with project phasing
- Conduct daily site walks with a focus on quality, completeness, and readiness for inspection and handover
- Review and interpret drawings, submittals, and technical documentation to ensure compliance and build quality
- Oversee works including earthworks, concrete, steel structures, building envelope, and architectural finishes with a focus on final quality
- Coordinate closely with MEP teams, commissioning, and QA/QC to ensure seamless interface and turnover alignment
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with site safety requirements
- Identify, track, and drive resolution of defects, incomplete work, and quality issues
- Maintain accurate field reports, turnover records, punch lists, and closeout documentation
- Support final inspections, client walkdowns, and formal handover processes
What You Bring
- Strong hands-on background in civil, structural, and architectural construction
- 10 years of experience in a CSA Supervisor or similar field leadership role
- Proven experience delivering projects through completion, punch management, and turnover phases
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, closeout processes, and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating across multiple trades to achieve turnover readiness
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive timely resolution of field and quality issues
- Track record of enforcing safety, quality, and productivity standards on site
Preferred Experience
- Experience with life sciences, laboratory, cleanroom, hospital, or other highly technical facilities
- Familiarity with phased turnover, commissioning support, and client handover processes
- Background working on large, fast-paced, multi-trade construction projects
