SUMMARY:
Responsible for safely delivering and picking up parts from customers in a timely, accurate, friendly, and professional
manner; requiring skills in operating vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations and the
company’s Safe Driving Policy. Providing exemplary customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL:

• Delivers and picks up parts and equipment to clients, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors
• Coordinate last-minute pick-ups and deliveries by checking with leaders, inside salespeople (Counterperson), with
Dispatcher and/or Warehouse personnel before leaving the store.
• Deliver parts to clients when needed and distribute them to appropriate drop-off spots on a timely basis.
• Coordinate and work with Dispatcher for the most efficient route in delivering to customers and vendors.
• Verifies that invoice matches items that are being delivered or picked up.
• Ensure that the check payment received from the customer is filled out accurately, including the verifying the
check against the invoice.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Request recipient’s signature on each delivery using the
delivery tablet.
• Unloads delivery vehicle each night; turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts daily.
• Use the required delivery program and equipment.
• Proficient at using PCH testing and machine equipment to service the clients’ needs.
• Complete Daily Vehicle Checklist, per store protocol, and ensure vehicle is good working order. Report any issues
with Vehicle to the Store Leader immediately.
• Handle basic maintenance of the vehicle, including checking and filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it
clean by washing the vehicles, and ensuring the required vehicle inspections have been completed before the
expiration date.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the store by dispensing used boxes and trash, sweeping floors, and dusting parts bins
daily.
• Ensure pallets, boxes, inventories are properly received, stored, and put away or stocked in their proper bins,
update inventory system.
• Ensure the warehouse is properly stocked and communicate in a timely manner with the Store Leader when stock
levels are low.
• Maintains professional appearance and hygiene; Ensure work uniform and name badge always worn.
• Completes and remains current with all mandatory manufacturing, safety compliance, safeguards, and
cybersecurity training.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Help prepare and complete all returns for shipment back to the different vendors for credit on a timely basis to
avoid missing out on the credit.
• Assist with the annual Store Parts Inventory and periodic inventory events.
• Assist with stocking the front-end retail space.
• Advises and informs management (Store leadership and/or General Manager), when the delivery vehicles need
repairs and maintenance, this includes major repair to the vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned by Store Leader or GM

QUALIFICATIONS

Diving is essential to this position, must have a current valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training: or
equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient with Email & Communication

LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. and procedure
manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals.

REASONING ABILITY
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Driving is essential to the duties, must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license and a clean driving
abstract
• Forklift Certification: Complete and obtain Forklift Certification within three (3) months from the first day of
employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle,
or feel. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally
required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with the
assistant of safety gears, equipment, or PPE, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with the assistant of safety
gears, equipment, or PPE. Rarely lift up to 100 pounds, requiring assistance from PPE, tools and equipment for items over
60 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) includes back brace, hand, head, foot, eye, face, and body protection. Goggles/eye
protection, gloves, ear plugs, and back brace are provided by the organization and must always be included in their
toolbox or workstation. PPE approved clothing/uniform and footwear, closed-toe, steel toes and slip-resistant soles, must
be worn at all times.
WORK HOURS:
• Regular Business Hours
• Travel between PCH Store location and customers may require longer hours.
• Inventory events may require longer hours.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes or
airborne particles; moving mechanical parts, equipment; high precarious places. Outside weather conditions range from
moderate cool to extreme heat and/or humid, wet/rain conditions; risk of electrical shock; explosive; noise level in the
work environment is usually moderate.
